OverNights is an ongoing gestural project that focuses on city grids as a way of generating abstract possibilities. Taken all over the world (mostly from airplanes and mountaintops) OverNights was one of my earliest efforts at using the camera as both brush and canvas. The longer exposure creates a dreamlike atmosphere transforms these population centers into things of beauty.
